As a former teacher at Breakthrough Saint Paul, you are in a special position to help the program and all of its current participants. Here’s how you can contribute:

• Keep Us Updated. If you're still a high school student or college undergraduate and have not already done so, update your record. If you're no longer a high school student or college undergraduate, select this update form.
• Become a Teacher Liaison. Help us keep in touch with your colleagues through our online community, and invite them to special events.
• Mentor a Student. Have you really connected with one student who you now want to mentor on your own? Through Big Brothers Big Sisters, you can do so.
• Tutor a Student. The program needs volunteers to tutor Breakthrough students during the normal school year.
• Take Leadership. Join the alumni planning committee, a student or teacher selection panel, or an advisory board workgroup.
• Mentor a Breakthrough teacher. If you have been teaching professionally, complete the circle and apply to mentor our aspiring teachers in their first classroom experience.
