Breakthrough’s highly rated teaching internship comes in two forms, summer and school year. Pick the one which matches your interest and schedule…or do both!

The Summer: With its “all-day, every day” nine week commitment, Breakthrough’s trademark summer teaching internship is very intense. It is a lifestyle more than a job ... an unmatched opportunity to make a real impact on students and the world. Design and teach three courses, plan field trips and special events, and give parent conferences. By the end of this experience, you will definitely know if teaching is the right path for you.

The School Year: Breakthrough also seeks high school and college students to teach during the year-round program. On 13 Saturday mornings, you will design and lead lessons to help Breakthrough students further develop their writing, math, and science skills. Just like in the summer, you will take leadership of many program elements like field trips, YO Time, and Level Up.
